TRAINING WITH VOLUNTEER LEADERS
Last Thursday, April 11, the second training was carried out with students from different Faculties of our University, who are part of the volunteer leaders (Wave Walkers) for the development of the Bible study cells called “Waves”.
At the meeting, student leaders were trained to learn about social communication styles, addressing people’s behavior to have an assertive approach with them.
They were also invited to take a test, with the aim of knowing their individual social style and also to identify their areas of improvement. The principle learned is that God calls us to service, and has given us a special way of being, to serve Him. But the most important thing that was highlighted is that, despite the differences, the same God is served, as 1 Corinthians 12:5-6 says.
Meetings with the Wave Walkers are once a month in order to reinforce their call within the University; helping them develop leadership skills and reinforcing their comprehensive development in professional and spiritual habits in their personal lives.
