INAUGURATION OF THE UEES CLINIC AT THE ZACAMIL NATIONAL HOSPITAL

On Monday, October 14, 2024, authorities of the Evangelical University of El Salvador together with authorities of the Ministry of Health, inaugurated the Clinical Headquarters of the Evangelical University of El Salvador in the National Hospital “Dr. Juan José Fernández” Zacamil. This project executed by UEES in alliance with MINSAL and HNZ, demonstrates the commitment of the Institution, which together with MINSAl, are committed to train the best health professionals in the country, both in undergraduate and in Medical Specialties. The students and teachers of the careers Doctorate in Medicine, Bachelor in Nutrition and Bachelor / Technician in Nursing, will have infrastructure and innovative and cutting-edge educational resources, positioning UEES as the leading University in the training of Health Professionals in El Salvador. In this great event, in recognition of his outstanding professional career and impact on the welfare of the health of the Salvadoran population, the Executive Board of UEES awarded Dr. Francisco José Alabí Montoya, Minister of Health, the Outstanding Graduate Recognition, giving the mention of Academic Area Nomination Clinical Headquarters UEES/HNZ “Dr. Francisco José Alabí Montoya”. Accompanied by the Vice Ministers of Health, Authorities and Teaching and Administrative Staff of the HNZ, a representation of Students of the Clinical Area of this Hospital, and the University community. Mauricio Hernández, President of the D.E.; Dr. Cristina de Amaya, Rector; Dr. Carlos Mónchez, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Lic. César Meléndez, Director of Chaplaincy. The Minister of Health, Dr. Francisco Alabí, inaugurated the building and expressed his gratitude for the recognition granted by his Alma Mater.

Dr. Carlos Mónchez, Dean of the School of Medicine, and Dr. Marina Villafuerte, Director of the UEES Clinical Area at the HNZ, led the tour of the new facilities, where the new classrooms, library, computer center, student recreation areas, rest areas and administrative areas for staff and faculty were on display.
