“FIRST PLACE IN EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM 2023”.
The Innovation Secretariat of the Presidency and CASATIC developed the first edition of the“Innovation Awards 2023“.
During the awards ceremony held on December 5, 2023, the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador won First Place in the category of Educational Innovation Ecosystem, with the project “Internet of Things (IoT) Simulator in Virtual Reality”, a project developed by the Directorate of Educational Technology.
The criteria for evaluating the projects were as follows:
- Originality (25%): Level of innovation and creativity in the platform.
- Impact (20%): Measurement of positive influence on users or industry.
- Usability (20%): Ease of navigation and user experience.
- Emerging Technologies (25%): Use of state-of-the-art technologies
- Applicability (10%): Consideration of the positive impact on the environment.
The award was received by the Director of Educational Technology, the event was attended by the Dean of FIUEES, the Computer Systems Engineering Career Coordinator and the CATI Coordinator.
