UEES STRENGTHENS ITS INTERNATIONAL PROJECTION THROUGH STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH VCOM

Authorities from both institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote academic mobility, scientific research and international cooperation.

The Evangelical University of El Salvador (UEES) continues to strengthen its strategy of internationalization and academic excellence through the consolidation of alliances with institutions of international prestige. In this context, on May 28, the university received the official visit of authorities from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM). Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), one of the leading training institutions in the field of osteopathic medicine.one of the leading institutions in medical training in the United States.

The event allowed for the exchange of academic experiences and the identification of new opportunities for collaboration aimed at strengthening professional training, scientific research and the development of social impact projects.

Academic cooperation to expand international training opportunities

During the meeting, VCOM representatives presented various initiatives aimed at promoting cooperation between the two institutions, with special emphasis on student and faculty mobility programs.

These opportunities will allow students and professors of the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador to strengthen their academic and professional skills through exchange experiences with the four campuses that VCOM has in the United States, favoring the exchange of knowledge, best practices and multicultural experiences.

They also explored mechanisms to facilitate future joint academic activities that will contribute to the strengthening of higher education and the training of professionals with a global vision.

Boosting scientific research and innovation

Another relevant aspect addressed during the visit was the strengthening of collaborative scientific research. Both institutions agreed on the importance of generating spaces that promote the development of joint research projects, particularly in areas related to health sciences, educational innovation and community welfare.

Cooperation in research will expand institutional capacities, promote the generation of knowledge and contribute to the search for solutions to challenges that have an impact both locally and internationally.

The rapprochement opens the possibility of exploring future forms of cooperation and support to strengthen the positive impact of this important project for the benefit of Salvadoran communities.

Signing of Memorandum of Understanding strengthens UEES’ internationalization

The visit culminated with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), a document that formalizes the willingness of both institutions to develop concrete actions for academic, scientific and social cooperation.

This agreement represents a significant step forward for the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador in its commitment to promote internationalization processes, strengthen scientific research and generate opportunities that benefit students, teachers and communities.

Through this type of strategic internalization alliances , UEES reaffirms its vision of promoting quality higher education, with a global focus and oriented towards the training of professionals committed to sustainable development and the transformation of society.
