The Evangelical University of El Salvador participated in the eighth edition of Innkînd FiEd LATAM 2026, held on May 20 and 21 at the RIU Hotel in Panama City, under the theme “Education + Beyond: towards a new architecture for higher education”.

The UEES delegation was composed of Ms. Sara Obando, Head of Human Resources; Mr. Eng. Jonathan AvalosAssistant Manager of Information Technology; and the Eng. Omar VillanuevaDirector of Digital Transformation. The participation was part of a national delegation led by Dr. Christian Aparicio, National Director of Higher Education of MINEDUCYT, together with representatives of AUPRIDES member universities.

During the forum, key issues for the future of higher education in the region were addressed, including generative artificial intelligence, the 6G, the metaverse, the transformation of institutional models, university governance, employability, the relationship with the productive sector, data, quality standards and new accreditation frameworks in the era of AI.

The participation of UEES reaffirms its commitment to educational transformation, institutional innovation, the strengthening of regional networks and the application of learning that contributes to the development of the university community.
