Meeting with the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD).
On Monday, October 21, 2024, the Evangelical University of El Salvador met with representatives of the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD). This institute is based on an original model of equitable scientific collaboration and interdisciplinary, citizen and sustainable science. It is also aligned to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs. The IRD seeks to have research partners globally. They have a constant search and application to research funds, mainly financed by the French government. In this sense, as a main objective, both institutions agreed to continue communicating in order to collaborate with each other in the search for joint research. Different representatives of the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador, Dr. Nadia Menjívar, General Director of Institutional Strategic Management, Mtro. Ernesto Rodríguez, Project Coordinator / DIRCI, Dr. Salvador Sorto, Coordinator of the Master’s Degree in Public Health, and Dr. Salvador Sorto, Coordinator of the Master’s Degree in Public Health, participated in the meeting.
