SWINGING IN OF THE ETHICS COMMITTEE FOR HEALTH RESEARCH CEIS-UEES 2023-2028
The Committee is formed by Dra. Milena de Reyes (President), Lic. Manuel González (Vice President), Dra. Carolina García (Secretary), Lic. Carlos Rodriguez (member), Mtra. Rebeca Hurtado (member), Dr. Danilo Escobar (member), Lic. Miguel Quintanilla (member), Ing. José Luis Guillen (member), Mtra. Doris de Elías (member), MSc. Dora Henríquez (member) y Srita. Gabriela Cisneros, support to the CEI.
It is an autonomous and independent group of people with multidisciplinary academic background, formed by the Academic Council of the Universidad Evangelica de El Salvador, which has been operating since 2007 and since July 26, 2016 we have been part of the committee formation in accordance with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO and the World Health Organization/ Pan American Health Organization through an act chaired by the Vice Minister of Health Services, the President of CSSP (for its Spanish acronym) and the President of the National Committee on Health Research Ethics (CNEIS for its Spanish acronym).
We evaluate and issue reports on projects of the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador schools and other external organizations that require fair and legal endorsement so that the results can have utility, worldwide validity, and be publishable.
