AWARDING OF RECOGNITION TO THE UEES RECTOR AS “DISTINGUISHED MIGUELEÑA”.

On Thursday, November 9, 2023, the Universidad de Oriente UNIVO, held a ceremony called “Distinguished Migueleños” with the objective of honoring those migueleños and migueleñas, who have excelled in their professional careers being an inspiration for the new generations for their commitment and leadership in different branches. L
The ceremony was presided over by the magnificent Sr. Rector of UNIVO, Dr. Pedro Fausto Arieta; Licda. María Luisa Sevillano, Academic Vice Rector; and Lic. Ever Israel Martínez, Vice Rector General. The distinguished participation of His Excellency the Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Felix Ulloa, who was part of the Table of Honor and was also decorated as Distinguished Migueleño in this ceremony.
The Authorities and University Community of UEES, congratulate Dra. Cristina Juárez de Amaya, UEES Rector, for being one of the 25 Migueleños who received this recognition.
