“Students of Law and International Relations represented UEES at one of the most important international justice conferences in Latin America.”
The Evangelical University of El Salvador (UEES), through its Bachelor of Legal Sciences program, participated for the first time in the 13th Ibero-American Week of International Justice and the 13th International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition, held in The Hague, Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The delegation consisted of students Angie Michelle Martínez and Hillary Stacy Sánchez Quinteros, from the School of Law, and Adriana Monserrat Cruz Bonilla, from the School of International Relations, under the guidance of the Mtra. Judith Ponce Ruelas, from Mexico.
During the event, the students participated in specialized academic activities, professional exchange sessions at the International Criminal Court, and an official visit to the Embassy of El Salvador in the Netherlands, thereby deepening their knowledge of international law and global justice.
The experience allowed the participants to interact with experts, academics, and students from different countries, broadening their perspective on contemporary challenges in international justice.
As a result of its outstanding performance, the EUES delegation received the award for “Best Thesis on the Public Prosecutor’s Office/Victims’ Trust Fund,” an achievement that underscores the program’s academic excellence, the preparedness of its students, and the institution’s commitment to training highly competent professionals.
This significant achievement strengthens the international standing of the Evangelical University of El Salvador and reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence, internationalization, and the development of leaders capable of contributing to the advancement of justice and the rule of law.
