On June 10, 2026, as part of the International Conference on Higher Education organized by AUPRIDES, ACIET, and REALCUP The UEES participated in the Quality Assurance Panel: “The Evolution of Quality Assurance in the Context of Digital Transformation and New Educational Demands,” which aimed to reflect on the challenges facing higher education institutions and accreditation agencies in light of the rapid changes in higher education driven by digital transformation, internationalization, the expansion of flexible educational modalities, and the growing need to demonstrate social impact, relevance, and quality.

The panel featured the following experts: Eng. Virgilio Reyes, President of the Commission for the Accreditation of Higher Education in El Salvador (CdA), Dr. Adriana Xiomara Reyes, Coordinator of the National Accreditation Council of Colombia (CNA), and Dr. Olga Hernández Limón, Executive Director of the Ibero-American Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (RIACES). The panel was moderated by Dr. Mirna García de González, Vice President for Academic Affairs at the Evangelical University of El Salvador
