“The partnership between the two universities opens up new opportunities for academic development, research and internationalization of students and faculty.”

The Evangelical University of El Salvador (UEES), held an institutional meeting with the Rector, Dr. Joaquín Hernández Alvarado, Ph. Technological University ECOTEC of Ecuador, with the purpose of strengthening academic cooperation ties and promoting initiatives of mutual benefit for both institutions.

The meeting was held on June 3, 2026 at the Hilton Hotel and was attended by members of the Executive Board and UEES Officers, who presented the Institutional Strategic Plan and shared the main lines of work that guide the academic, scientific and outreach development of the University.

The day culminated with the signing of a Framework Cooperation Agreement between the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador and the Universidad Tecnológica ECOTEC, signed by the Dr. Cristina Juarez de AmayaDr. Joaquín Hernández Alvarado, Ph.D., Rector of UEES, and Dr. Joaquín Hernández Alvarado, Ph.D., Rector of ECOTEC.
