In the framework of World Environment Day, on June 5th, as part of the commemoration of the 6 years of the project “Trees for El Salvador”, a reforestation campaign was carried out in Playa los Almendros, Complejo los Cobanos, Acajutla. This project was coordinated by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARN). The event was attended by various government institutions, IES and a group of volunteers. Moisés Menéndez, coordinator of the Student Social Service Unit, attended on behalf of UEES. The Minister of Environment Fernando Lopez, who shared a few words and encouraged everyone to participate in reforesting and caring for the environment.
