PARTICIPATION IN THE INAUGURATION OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY WEEK

On April 22, as part of the commemoration of World Intellectual Property Day, celebrated every April 26, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) inaugurated Intellectual Property Week with the theme “Intellectual Property (IP) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Our common future is forged with innovation and creativity”. This activity took place at the National Library of El Salvador (BINAES) and was attended by Lic. Camilo Trigueros, Director of the CNR, Licda. Mariemm Pleitez, Minister of Culture; Licda. María Luisa Hayen, Minister of Economy; Mr. Tomas Montenegro, representative of WIPO; Mr. Daniel Méndez, Secretary of Innovation of the Presidency; and Mr. Jorge Kattan, Secretary of Commerce; awards were also presented to government entities that have supported the NRC. This activity was attended by: Dra. Nuvia Estrada, Vice Rector of Research and Social Projection, Licda.
