WELCOME TO THE DELEGATION OF THE FUNDACIÓN MAESTRO CARES

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, UEES had the visit of FUNDACIÓN MAESTRO CARES. Sponsors of scholarships for low-income young people with high academic performance. The program arises from the cooperation between the Maestro Cares Foundation, based in Chicago, IL, USA, and the Evangelical University of El Salvador, managed by the Directorate of International Relations and Cooperation, DIRCI. The objectives of the Foundation’s visit were: 1. to strengthen the relationship with the university, 2. to monitor the scholarship students, and 3. to collect testimonies from each of them regarding the impact that the scholarship has had on their academic and personal lives.

The agenda of the visit included: 1. Welcome and initial presentation, carried out with the participation of UEES officials, the General Directorate of Institutional Strategic Management, the Directorate of Social Engagement and Student Welfare, the Directorate of University Chaplaincy, the Coordination of Scholarships and Appeals, the Coordination of Art, Culture and Sports, and the Coordination of International Relations and Cooperation; 2. Meeting with the scholarship students and presentation of scholarship certificates; 3. Tour of the facilities; and 4. Establishment of agreements and follow-up actions for the scholarship program.
