ACCIDENT INSURANCE

What is an "Accident"?:
Any casual, fortuitous, and sudden event, independent of the will of the Insured, resulting in an external bodily injury results that could be determined by the doctors in a certain way.

What is Personal Accident Insurance?
It is insurance that compensates in case of suffering an accident.

Personal Accident Insurance for students from the Commercial Agricultural insurer ACSA. It is used in case students suffer an Accident inside or outside the University Facilities, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Personal Accident Coverage
Accidental death. $3,200.00 dollars.

Reimbursement of medical expenses: $2,500.00 dollars.
Deductible per event in medical expenses to be paid $19.00 dollars.
No coverage for common illnesses.

Requirements to make use of the insurance.
Be enrolled and registered as an active student in any University degree.

In case of any emergency, present your student ID and ID document at the hospitals of the network; Hospital de Diagnóstico, Pro familia, Hospital Central y Centro Medico de Santa Ana.

Pay $19.00 dollars corresponding to the deductible.
When you do not have access to network hospitals, the student must pay all expenses (see detail of amounts on the poster).
After the event, submit a claim form with all invoices and prescriptions for the reimbursement procedure.

Procedure for using accident insurance.
Upon arrival at the Hospital, the current student ID must be present and ID document cancel $19 dollars as a deductible.
