Social Service.
It is a responsibility that every student must fulfill to graduate.
It is a tool to put your area of study into practice.
Its purpose is to expand and consolidate academic knowledge and skills.
Interaction with the reality of the country to contribute to its development.
It has no political ties, nor does it include lucrative business activities.
Social Service is broken down as follows:
Disciplinary hours. Completion of a number of hours according to the career, where the activities should be focused on the training area.
Environmental hours. Completion of 10% of the hours for practices related to the Environment, in compliance with Art. 39 of the Environmental Law of the Republic of El Salvador.
Procedure for initiating social service:
Comply with the requirements established in the Social Service Regulations.

Type of Beneficiary Institution.
Entry of documentation.
Approval by the University.
Contact the Student Social Service Unit for guidance.
Attend the informational meetings held by the Student Social Service Unit with the support of the faculty.
Enter the project into the Student Social Service System for review and approval.
If approved, initiate compliance with the total disciplinary and/or environmental hours.
Since this year 2022, the process has been updated to facilitate and expedite the delivery of documentation. Now it is done virtually, through the Student Social Service System.
