Social Projection in the health area is worked on three fronts: Oral health, general medical health and mental health; incorporating a preventive and comprehensive approach in each of the interventions. The Social Projection Committee of the Faculty of Dentistry executes the Comprehensive Oral Health Promotion Program in the targeted territories, particularly in the Shalom Children's Home, located in the Municipality of Santiago Texacuangos, and the Comprehensive Development Center, La Gran Commission , which has territorial coverage in the El Progreso Canton and San Isidro Los Planes, bordering communities between the Municipality of San Salvador and Santa Tecla in the area of ​​the San Salvador Volcano and in the Municipality of Ciudad Delgado through the Initiative for the Peace that is executed in alliance with the Pablo Tesak Foundation for Experiential Education. This Program also executes actions within the framework of the Transforma Cabañas Community Development Program, which is executed in association with the Auditorio Cristiano Church in communities in the Municipality of Victoria, in the Department of Cabañas.
