Considering that the disparity in the growth of some bean plants could be due to poor germination and ultimately lead to a decrease in the number of plants and production; The present investigation was carried out on in vitro germination tests, with the purpose of determining if the Otero bean seeds (Pha.seolus vulgaris var. Fagiolo nano harvester sel harmony) when soaked in water increased their germinative power. The treatments evaluated consisted of soaking green bean seeds in water at different times. The treatments. They were TI = control, T2 = 5 minutes, T3 = 10 mur. Mos, T4= 15 minutes. The experiment was located in the laboratory. of Biology and Chemistry of the Evangelical University of El Salvador), a completely randomized experimental design was used. The results showed that the germination obtained was for T1= 95%, T2= 85%, T3= 90% and T4= 95%, no significant statistical differences were detected between these treatments.
