Abstract

A 22-year-old female patient with dental trauma in teeth 12 and 11. After routine evaluations and after diagnosing the presence of vertical and longitudinal fractures along the palate up to the middle third of the root, the patient was presented with the different treatment options and this was decided by the extraction and immediate placement of osseo-integrated dental implants. The study models and a diagnostic wax-up (Wax-up) were made to build the provisional and the surgical guide. During the surgical act of extraction, the alveoli were prepared for the placement of the implants selected in advance. Afterwards, the bone extracted during the preparation was placed, sutured and a provisional was cemented.
After 15 days, the soft tissue healed favorably, the provisional was rectified and recemented with an adhesive technique on the adjacent teeth. Subsequent clinical and radiographic controls indicate a favorable prognosis for the total recovery of the affected area.
