Abstract

When asking what Salvadoran society knows about science and technology, very little is known by the researchers themselves on the subject. In July 2015, a national study on this subject was carried out for the first time in the country through the Vice Ministry of Science and Technology and the New National Council for Science and Technology (N-CONACYT, El Salvador) and two private universities, called : “Social perception of science and technology in El Salvador”.
