Crea Ciencia is a biannual scientific journal with continuous diamond open access, edited by the Publications Department of the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Outreach at the Evangelical University of El Salvador (UEES). It specializes in health science research conducted by internal and external researchers, both national and international. It is aimed at researchers, students, professionals, and the general public interested in the field.
Crea Ciencia articles are scientific and unpublished, in the form of research articles, case studies, meta-analyses, scientific essays, and letters to the editor; all must comply with the basic formal criteria of the academic journal. The external peer review process is double-blind. There are no article processing charges (APC), and the TURNITIN system is used for text similarity recognition.
All manuscripts submitted must be accompanied by a parallel file, a letter of endorsement from a legally registered national or international research ethics committee, and informed consent, if applicable, when working with informants.
Crea Ciencia is an indexed and refereed journal and uses the CC BY-NC-SA license.
Crea Ciencia uses the Vancouver style guide, especially for medical sciences.
