Welcome meeting for students of the Legislative Assembly’s scholarship program for higher education studies Dagoberto Gutiérrez

On Tuesday, January 7, at the facilities of the Evangelical University of El Salvador, an official ceremony was held to announce the 32 students who benefited from the scholarship program of the Legislative Assembly for higher education studies Dagoberto Gutiérrez.
This scholarship program is the result of a collaboration between the Legislative Assembly and the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador. Its purpose is to promote equity in access to higher education, providing opportunities to young people with high academic potential, but with economic limitations, so that they can develop their abilities, contribute to the development of the country and strengthen human capital, through the allocation of scholarships that facilitate their access to higher education and favor their permanence and academic success.
Several UEES representatives participated in the event, sharing important information about academic processes, mobility programs, counseling and other activities developed in departments such as the University Chaplaincy Office, Academic Office, Marketing and Communications, Accounting and Finance Management, and the Office of International Relations and Cooperation.
As part of the accompaniment, a tour of the university campus was organized so that the students could familiarize themselves with the facilities. The Vice Rector’s Office for Research and Liaison presented information on one of the benefits provided by the institution in the areas of art, culture and sports, encouraging students to take advantage of the support in other areas in which they can also develop.
