VISIT OF MISSIONARIES FROM “YOUTH WITH A MISSION” (YUCUM)
On Thursday, February 29, we received a visit from representatives of Youth With A Mission Ministries (YWAM), a movement recognized globally for its dedication to serving Jesus around the world.
Pastor Mauricio Castellón, general pastor of Iglesia Bautista Miramonte, was the one who provided us with the contact of two missionary brothers from the city of Boston and two YWAM leaders, who are planting a base in El Salvador.
They were received on behalf of our University by Mr. César Meléndez, Director of University Chaplaincy, Mr. Oscar Pleites, Coordinator of Development Programs and Pr. Daniel Chacón, Student Chaplaincy Coordinator.
During the meeting, initiatives were socialized in order to work together in the future, developing discipleship and missionary leadership projects for university students and young people in general in our country.
