UNIVERSIDAD EVANGÉLICA DE EL SALVADOR
PARTICIPATION IN THE XXV WORLD LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM
The “XXV World Leadership Symposium: The New Role of the University in the Intelligent Society” was held from November 5 to 7. This year it was organized by the National University of Callao, Peru and was sponsored by prestigious foreign universities and national institutions such as: The World University of Mexico, Open University for Adults , International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities, Evangelical University of El Salvador, among others. The objective of the Symposium was to reinforce the academic, professional and cultural interrelationships between universities in the Latin American region, and thus strengthen the ties that unite us and make us a solid community in technology, learning and values. The Symposium began with welcoming remarks by Dr. Arcelia Olga Rojas Salazar, Rector of the Universidad Nacional del Callao, Peru; and allusive words to the event by the Rectors, Vice Rectors and representatives of the Institutions: Universidad Humani Mundial, Mexico; Universidad Mundial, Mexico, Grupo de Cooperación Internacional de Universidades Brasileñas; Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador, Universidad Católica de Manizales, Colombia; and Universidad de la Gran Colombia.
