On October 19, 2023, the following forum was held CYTED-CONACYT “Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0”.With the objective of promoting knowledge and understanding of the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation and Industry 4.0, fostering the strategic use of digital technology in different areas of research, academia and business, the presentations presented the need to articulate research. We participated in a round table discussion with the purpose of seeking rapprochement with the speakers, who offered their points of view on strategies that can be used to enhance the articulation between business and academia. Carlos Rodriguez, Coordinator of the Center for Technology and Innovation Support (CATI) and Miguel Quintanilla, Coordinator of the Center for Health and Society Research (CISS) attended this activity.
