DIRECTION OF UNIVERSITY CHAPLAINCY
MEETING WITH MARIANO GÁLVEZ UNIVERSITY OFFICIALS
On Thursday, May 16, officials from the Universidad Mariano Gálvez of Guatemala visited our country to visit the National Library of El Salvador and hold meetings with officials from our University.
On behalf of the Mariano Galvez University, we were visited by Licda. Emma San José, Director of Alumni and Board of Directors of UMG, MBA Hugo Morales, Director of International Relations and Board of Directors of UMG, Licda. Heidy de Recinos, Library Director of the School of Medicine, Licda. Rosa Cardona, Director of the UMG Central Library and M.A. Haroldo Urízar, Chaplain.
The tour was organized by Lic. Rosa Ramirez, Director of our Library and was accompanied by Lic. Elizabeth Bernal and Lic. The meetings were held with Dra. Mirna García, Academic Vice Rector, Mr. Ernesto Rodríguez, DIRCI Project Coordinator and Mr. César Meléndez, Director of University Chaplaincy.
As a result of the visit, it was agreed to continue strengthening relations in the academic area, establishing projects in the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine and Chemistry. and between the Chaplaincies of both Universities.
