LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN THE ETHICS DEPARTMENT WITH PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS

On Thursday, April 3, a learning experience on the value of service was developed, as part of the ethics course, with first cycle students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
This experience consisted of a campaign to collect food, toys and personal hygiene products for the families of inpatients and patients in consultation with the “Help me to Live” Foundation.
Thanks to the 76 students in the class, 44 personal hygiene packages, 52 food packages, 12 sheets, 60 pairs of socks and 154 toys were collected and delivered to the children being treated at the Foundation and their families.
This experience is part of the activities evaluated during the second registration of the 01-2025 cycle, corresponding to the contents on values and Christian ethics in the subject. Oscar Pleites, coordinator of the Ethics course was in charge of this activity.
As part of the educational process, we believe that these experiences are important to form professionals who are aware of the need to serve their fellow men and women.
