UNIVERSIDAD EVANGÉLICA DE EL SALVADOR
FIRST PLACE IN CHESS TOURNAMENT ANADES 2024

On May 25, the ANADES Chess Tournament – Edition 2024 was held at the facilities of the Open Modular University (U.M.A.) San Salvador; this competition was attended by 28 students from different Higher Education Institutions in the country. The event was inaugurated after the words of the authorities of the Board of Directors of ANADES, Licda. Ana Isabel Sotelo de Munguía, President and Lic. Carlos Loucel, Treasurer. The ceremony was attended by Mtro. Edgar Jiménez, Vice Rector of the U.M.A. and with the indications of Mtro. Burgos, technical manager of the tournament. UEES was represented by Marjorie Armida Herrera, Doctor of Dental Surgery student and Brandon Emilio Veliz, Doctor of Medicine student, as part of the achievements obtained, Marjorie Herrera won the first place medal, congratulations to our students.
