DAY 4 – MULTICULTURAL WEEK 2024 “AFROSALVADOREÑOS: AFRICAN HERITAGE IN EL SALVADOR”.
As part of the Multicultural Week 2024 “Afrosalvadoreños: African heritage in El Salvador”, on Thursday, May 9, the UEES drawing and painting contest awards ceremony was held, the winners are: Fernando Hernandez, student of the Doctorate in Medicine won first place. Name of the piece “La huérfana de patria”; Gabriela Patiño, student of the Doctorate in Medicine obtained the second place. Name of the piece “Una historia viva”; Jimena Vargas, student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology obtained the third place. Name of the piece “African heartbeats in our nation”; Adriana Magaña, PhD student in Medicine won first place in the graphite category. Name of the piece “Cientos de nombres, un solo pueblo”. These activities favor the development of artistic skills by UEES students.
