Dyspeptic syndrome is defined as the presence of early satiety, postprandial fullness, epigastric pain, or epigastric burning in the absence of organic, systemic, or metabolic disease likely to explain the symptoms. In the Conchagua Intermediate Family Health Community Unit, the number of curative consultations seen from the period January 1 to May 31, 2019 registered in the El Salvador morbidity and mortality system were 970, of which 8 were classified with the diagnosis of functional dyspepsia . Of these consultations, the treatment carried out by the doctor is carried out subjectively, as there is no clinical guide, so the general objective of the trial is to establish the diagnosis and management of dyspeptic syndrome in patients who consult at the Community Health Unit. Conchagua Intermediate Family. Regarding the methodology used for the present study, the use of the documentary review technique was convenient, through the search in search engines such as: Cochrane, academic Google, textbooks and, later, an analysis and interpretation was carried out. of the information. The sources consulted establish that the diagnosis is made clinically based on the diagnostic criteria of Rome IV, cabinet studies such as endoscopy and laboratory tests, among which the Helicobacter pylori test stands out.
