Abstract

If awareness of the significance of books to this day and their unyielding value (as objects coveted for their diversity of content and physical preservation, from the most rudimentary such as clay tablets, papyrus, or codices in the development of civilizations) and the memory of humanity were given to us through a single source, it would be worthwhile for everyone in the Spanish-speaking world to have Irene Vallejo Moreu's El infinito en un junco as their bedside book.
