Labor insertion in the graduates of the Doctorate in Dental Surgery of the Evangelical University of El Salvador in the cohorts of the year 2015 to 2018

The objective of this study was to determine the labor insertion in the graduates of the Doctorate in Dental Surgery of the Evangelical University of El Salvador in the cohorts from 2015 to 2018. Materials and methods study design with a quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional approach, the The sample was calculated by a non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. The technique used was the survey with validation through expert judgment. Results that are evidenced in that 77% of respondents took less than a year to be able to join the labor market. 87% of those surveyed have a job related to the profession they studied. In conclusion, the age that showed the highest percentage was 26 years with 37%, followed by 25 years with a percentage of 32%, these data are related to the eight years of duration of the career including social service. 86% of graduates are working in a job related to their academic training, concluding that there is job placement, this provides confidence to argue that a study of this career generates self-sufficient professionals capable of managing in the labor market of the country. The recommendations indicate that an in-depth diagnosis should be made with current data, given the need for human resources in Dentistry that responds to the country's oral health problems.
