Abstract

In the Faculty of Dentistry of the Evangelical University of El Salvador (UEES), each student performs dental treatments during the last 5 academic cycles, which are done in patients who request the service of the clinics. Complying with national and international standards and taking into account the
Important aspects in the drafting of an informed consent, three documents are elaborated that will be used in the dental clinic of the UEES. They are intended to serve as a model for people who wish to consent to research. A review of national and international documentation and regulations was made and a proposal was developed which can serve as a basis for future models of informed consent in the research of the faculty and institutions that their research needs it..
