The neuropsychiatric manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) include central nervous system (CNS), peripheral, and autonomic neurological syndromes, as well as psychiatric syndromes seen in patients with SLE, once other causes have been ruled out. The association between myasthenia gravis and another autoimmune disease fluctuates between 5 and 30% of cases. We present the case of a 29-year-old woman who, after multiple hospital admissions and a series of studies due to weakness, was able to demonstrate the relationship between myasthenia gravis and the systemic lupus erythematosus that she already suffered from.
