About the Journal

Crea Ciencia is a biannual open-access scientific journal operating under a diamond open-access model and a rolling-acceptance system, managed by the Publications Office of the Office of the Vice-Rector for Research and Outreach at the Evangelical University of El Salvador (UEES).

Its objective is to strengthen, encourage, evaluate, and disseminate scientific output and research activity, ensuring that it is discoverable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable by the academic community and society. This purpose focuses on the field of medicine and its various specialties as the journal’s central thematic axis, in line with the principles of social responsibility that govern institutions of higher education. In this way, it seeks to make the knowledge generated available to the academic community and society at large.

The journal accepts contributions from diverse geographical contexts, aimed at strengthening the exchange and construction of scientific knowledge. Manuscripts containing politically, religiously, culturally, or economically oriented content that promotes confrontation, devaluation, or any form of disparagement will not be accepted.
