In the framework of the World Tobacco Free Day celebrated on May 31, the students of the Doctorate in Dental Surgery of the Clinical Periodontics II department carried out an activity where they creatively implemented messages alluding to the damage caused by tobacco in the periodontium.

The students also invited the patients who attended the periodontal consultation to stop smoking. The initiative was led by Dr. Antonieta Alcantara and was positively received by both patients and students, thus promoting awareness about the health of the tissues that support the teeth.
