Welcome meeting for students of the “Maestro Cares Foundation” scholarship program.

On Monday, December 16, at the facilities of the Evangelical University of El Salvador, in an official ceremony, the six students benefited by the scholarship program “Maestro Cares Foundation” were announced.
This scholarship program is the result of the cooperation between the Maestro Cares Foundation, based in Chicago, IL, USA, and the Evangelical University of El Salvador. Its objective is to promote equal opportunities in higher education by making possible the access, permanence and graduation of students with high intellectual capacity and limited economic resources. The event was attended by various representatives of UEES, who presented, among others, the generalities of academic processes, mobility programs, counseling and other activities that are developed in the departments of the University Chaplaincy Directorate, Academic Directorate, Marketing and Communications, Accounting and Finance Management, and the Directorate of Relations and International Cooperation.
As part of the accompaniment and support, a tour was organized so that students could familiarize themselves with the university campus. The Vice Rector’s Office for Research and Liaison shared information on art, culture and sports, encouraging students to feel the support and accompaniment in other areas in which they may wish to develop.
During the visit, promotional kits were given to the students who benefited from the scholarship. The Evangelical University of El Salvador welcomed the new scholarship recipients, congratulates them and encourages them to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. UEES, thanks the Maestro Cares Foundation for their valuable support for the future of these young people.
