On Tuesday, March 4, a webinar entitled “Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Employability and Future Challenges” was held. This event was aimed at students and faculty of the School of Engineering and was led by Karla Sanchez, research professor and PhD candidate in Automatics, as well as a specialist in Artificial Intelligence at the Universidad Iberoamericana de Colombia.

During the session, which was attended by 83 participants, an analysis was made of how artificial intelligence is influencing the current labor market. Ms. Sanchez presented an in-depth analysis of how AI is transforming the skills required in the professional environment. The webinar not only contributed to the academic development of the attendees, but also fostered a critical reflection on the future of employability with the advancement of technology.
