UNIVERSIDAD EVANGÉLICA DE EL SALVADOR

On Wednesday, July 25, the University Chaplaincy Office held a retreat with student volunteer leaders from the “Wave” groups, with the purpose of strengthening their service, leadership and teamwork skills. The leaders participated in various teachings and workshops which focused on the biblical quote from Esther 4:14-16 that challenged them to assume their leadership role, to take advantage of the opportunity they have to serve their peers. The volunteer leaders or better known as “Wave Walkers” are students from different majors who have put their gifts and talents at the service of others, supporting the activities of the University Chaplaincy. At the retreat we had the opportunity to welcome 7 students from different careers who will be part of the team of volunteer leaders and we thanked the leaders who finished their time as volunteers, as they are finishing their university careers.
