On October 28, Carlos Rodriguez, coordinator of the Technology Transfer Office (OTT) of UEES, together with Dr. Aydee de Parada, Director of Research, visited the Rafael Landivar University of Guatemala with the purpose of establishing collaborative ties with its Technology Transfer Office. Esmeralda Flores, coordinator of the Arts, Culture and Sports Unit, was present during this meeting to coordinate aspects related to arts, culture and sports with her counterparts at the URL: Cecilia Zurita, responsible for artistic development for students, and Marvin Coronado, in charge of the sports unit. In the area of research, the Vice Rector for Research and Social Projection of the URL shared his experience on the management and operation of the Research Institute and the Research Fund, enriching the dialogue on possible collaborations. Gustavo Estrada, from the Directorate of Research in Health Sciences, Natural Sciences and Technology, was also present. At this meeting, valuable experiences in the development of technologies applied to key areas such as the environment and health were exchanged, laying the groundwork for future collaborations that will drive innovation and progress in these fields. This initiative seeks not only to strengthen the relationship between both institutions, but also to enhance the impact of their respective research and programs for the benefit of the community.
