UNIVERSIDAD EVANGÉLICA DE EL SALVADOR

On April 29, 2025, the School of Legal Sciences, through the School of International Studies, organized a master lecture entitled “China and the World: China and El Salvador”, given by His Excellency Mr. Zhang Yanhui, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in El Salvador.

During his speech, the Ambassador addressed several highly relevant issues:

• He explained in detail China’ s domestic policy and the economic measures adopted in recent years, which have made it possible to achieve the current results of growth and stability in his country.
• He analyzed the opening-up process, technological innovation and development strategies implemented by the Chinese government.
• He discussed in depth the state of diplomatic relations and cooperation between China and El Salvador, highlighting areas such as trade, investment, infrastructure, education and technical assistance.

The event provided a unique opportunity for attendees to gain a first-hand understanding of China’s approach to international politics, its role on the global stage and the importance of strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.
