SOCIAL BONDING DAY

On October 31 was celebrated the Day of Social Liaison, the activity began with a prayer by Mr. Germán Ayala, Employee Care Coordinator of the Directorate of University Chaplaincy, welcoming remarks by Dr. Nuvia Estrada, Vice Rector of Research and Liaison; keynote lecture by Dr. Mario Zetino Duarte, Sociologist and Vice Rector of Research of the Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas (UCA), addressing the theme “The Articulation of Substantive Functions of the University”, and a lecture on “The Articulation of Substantive Functions of the University”. Mario Zetino Duarte, Sociologist and Vice Rector of Research of the Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas (UCA), addressing the topic “The Articulation of the Substantive Functions for the Integral Formation of Students and the Impact on Sustainable Development”; closing remarks and presentation of diplomas by Mr. Walter Menjívar, Director of Social Liaison and Student Welfare. This day of reflection contributed significantly to the enrichment of knowledge and above all to broaden the perspective of the essential importance of articulating the substantive functions, which seeks not only to train competent professionals in each of the disciplines, but also citizens committed to the development of society. This activity was attended by Deans, teaching and administrative staff of UEES involved in social outreach projects, researchers and students, committed to continue working as a team to move forward on this path of many challenges and challenges. The occasion was used to present the fourth edition of the Revista de Vinculación Social 2024.
