PARTICIPATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS CEREMONY
On December 11, 2024, the gala ceremony of the Awards for Excellence in Higher Education, 2024 edition, was held; which was attended by authorities representing the Evangelical University of El Salvador: Marielos Mercado, Vice Rector of Educational Innovation and Technology; Dr. Nuvia Estrada, Vice Rector of Research and Liaison; Dr. Mirna García, Academic Vice Rector, Lic. During the event, the most outstanding HEIs were recognized for their successful models of best practices, both academic and administrative, as well as in research and social projection. The purpose of the event was to promote the implementation of successful models of good practices for a sustainable and inclusive future, based on a national recognition by the Rector. During the event, UEES received the following recognitions:
- First place in the category of Educational Innovation in Teacher Strengthening, with the Teacher Strengthening Program.
- Third place category Impact of Formal Student Organization – Follow-up to Graduates in HEIs
- Third place in the category Attention to Persons with Disabilities, Project: Technologies Applied to Educational Inclusion.
- Third place in the category of High Impact Applied Research, project: Innovation of Goat Food Productivity for Socio-Productive Development within the framework of the Transforma Cabañas Program.
