On October 18, 2023, theCYTED-CONACYT Forum : Digital and Industrial Transformation 4.0 took place, organized by the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT) of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MINEDUCYT); with the objective of promoting knowledge and understanding of the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation and industry 4.0, encouraging the strategic use of digital technology in different areas of research, academia and business. During the presentations, the need to articulate research and academia to support various areas related to the economy, health, education and innovation in production, among others, through the digitization of processes, was presented.
