LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN THE ETHICS DEPARTMENT OF RRNNII STUDENTS AT THE “BENJAMIN BLOOM” CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

On Saturday, April 5, a service value learning experience event was held with students from the ethics department of the Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations.

The teachers in charge were Alexis Portillo and Oscar Pleites. In this experience, more than 120 first year students worked collaboratively to generate a food collection campaign that was delivered to the “Benjamín Bloom” Specialized Children’s Hospital.

In addition to handing out food packages and personal hygiene products, toys were distributed to the children admitted to the oncology, orthopedics and infectious diseases floors of the Hospital. There was also the opportunity to offer words of hope to the families who are going through such a hard time with their little ones.

The ethics chair seeks to make its students sensitive to the needs of society, in order to be a blessing to others.
