INAUGURATION OF THE MULTICULTURAL WEEK
On May 6, the opening ceremony of the Multicultural Week 2024 “Afrosalvadoreños: African Heritage in El Salvador” was held, in this activity participated with prayer by Mr. German Ayala, Employee Chaplaincy Coordinator, words of welcome by Dra. Nuvia Estrada de Velasco, Vice Rector of Research and Social Projection, and closing remarks by Dra. Dinorah Alvarado, Dean of the School of Dentistry. During the event, the book “Splendor of Blue Gold” by Salvadoran historian Dr. Heriberto Erquicia was presented, and a copy was given to Maestra Rosa Ramirez, Director of the Library so that the UEES community can enjoy reading historical texts, in addition, some copies were given to the audience who participated in the question and answer session. Artistic activities were performed by the IEPROES dance troupe and a performance in honor of indigo by the UEES theater troupe.
