Abstract

The present study demonstrates the efficacy of office whitening treatment with 38% Hydrogen Peroxide (Xtra-Boost) and/or 35% Hydrogen Peroxide (POLA OFFICE), which were applied to pieces of the anterior-superior and anterior-superior sector. -bottom, under the same conditions, taking exact electronic color measurement using the Vita EASYSHADE spectrophotometer, correctly and truthfully demonstrating the level of change recorded in the value of the treated dental pieces; tabulated and graphed measurements that showed changes of up to six tones in the value according to the classic Vita Pan guide and from one group to another in the 3D Master guide, thus demonstrating that a longer treatment and in the same controlled way would lead to a change in the much higher value in the dental piece, in turn demonstrating the precision of the spectrophotometer compared to the human eye, which tends to measure more poorly, since there are factors that diffuse the light and do not allow a precise focus of the image. image.
