Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic forced a change in the lives of everyone around the world. The present study deals with the impact that the pandemic had on the teaching sector of the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) members of the National Council of Rectors of El Salvador (CONARES): how well technologically prepared they were, what were the challenges to the that the teaching sector was exposed, as well as what the sudden change towards non-face-to-face classes meant with the technological resources that were available and the training they had.
