The Evangelical Church facing the 21st century

Abstract

The mission of the Evangelical Church of El Salvador has been one of the concerns of the serious denominations that have constantly reflected on their role in the midst of society, The Church has been modeling its theology from the experience of life, from the exercise of its mission and in contact with historical reality. There is no doubt that the Evangelical Church, since its arrival in El Salvador, at the end of the 19th century, assigned a marked preponderance to evangelization, while social action remained relegated to a secondary level or to none at all.
