Development and proposal of protocols for software projects in computer sciences

Abstract

When large projects are built in civil, electrical engineering or other sciences, it begins with the preparation of the respective construction plans, which determine the main characteristics of the project. Likewise, when developing IT projects, one must begin with the planning and preparation of the minimum documentation, as well as the necessary diagrams (equivalent to construction plans) to provide a clear vision of the final characteristics of the project. The objective of this innovation project is to propose a technical protocol that allows establishing the parameters, technical specifications, minimum required technical documentation and the metrics to be evaluated through which it allows
to the management and leadership of the IT departments and units to establish in a practical, measurable way the quality of the code and construction with which IT projects are developed. The investigation begins with a diagnostic survey that will determine the current situation of the application of the different programming and systems development standards. Based on the results of the survey, the proposed code quality protocol is developed, in which the minimum requirements that must be observed are proposed, as well as the use of Open Source software to evaluate the lines of code that are produced for verify its correct construction.
